I grew up on ranch in northwest Texas spending many of my days outdoors often tending to the horses or helping my mom garden. These experiences not only inspired a deep connection to nature early in life but also an appreciation for the colors and textures that nature displays. I’ve been a painter now for over 20 years, and I often see these elements of influence in my work.

Later when I met my husband Jon we both shared an intense love for renovating homes. When our renovations would end I would paint new canvases to complete the space.

It became evident the impact that art brought to every project, so I began painting commission paintings for clients that I designed for in Dallas and then later in San Antonio.

I have worked with many mediums and have experimented with many different forms of art. In painting I use oil, oil cold wax medium, watercolor, charcoal, oil pastel and occasionally acrylic. My work is often abstract with which I build many textures and play intuitively with color.
